Hurricanes who seemingly were on the team for 7 or 8 years

no brainer: Carlos Huerta was our kicker for the first 4 championships!

Derrick Golden is the only UM player with 3 national titles from what I remember. (87-91).

That said, Rusty Medaris takes the crown. He was here 6 years. Shame he got hurt. He would have been a Pro Bowler.

Omar Rolle. I remember him catching a TD pass in 98 after not hearing his name for a few years before that.

I feel like Jeff Popovich was here forever.

Note: after a quick Google search, I've learned he is now the DB coach for Boise St. and was a contestant on The Bachelorette.

I always felt like Stacey Coley existed in an infinite sphere of non-linear time.

Carlos Huerta. I remember back in 1990 I was watching the epic beat down we put on Houston with some friends of mine in Michigan who were huge Wolverine fans. When Huerta trotted onto the field for the first of many extra points, one of them screamed "NO EFFIN' WAY!!!". Maybe they were still traumatized by the kicks he made against them in the Big House in 1988 but they could not believe that he was still on the team. Hilarious.
