There is a big difference between slightly exaggerating things and straight up lying. Ross straight up lied and is a **** CO while trying to pretend he was Boobie Williams.

Biggie lived in a 2 room PJ apartment instead of a one room. Biggie did rob people. Biggie did slang crack. Biggie did associate with big time Gs in BK. He exaggerated just like every other rapper. Ross lied.

Curtis is probably the most gangster successful rapper of all time. That was not why 50 got shot and the dude that shot him got killed right after.

Of course cops do dirt. I also know that COs are more likely to be on payroll than cops. Even if he was on payroll. Then him opening a door or turning his head when a hit goes down. Or bringing in a cell phone or some dope to the Gs does not make you a gangster.

This is like some rich suburb kid selling some dime bags putting out an album about how he is El Chapo.

My point was that cops weren't always cops before they became cops LOL...**** I got homeboys that used to do dirt that work in LE now.

And I guarantee you that some of those cops that Suga had on payroll were bangin' before they became cops.

So it's not far fetched that Rozay was runnin' with Dopeboy Kenny before He became a CO.

Ya a couple of those cops were bloods before going legit. Everyone I know from Carol City told me Ross didn't put in any work with them. One of there baby mamas came out and said ross was just a lame from the neighborhood.

2 reasons to swtich to LE. 1 you were to much of a ***** to live the life. Or they straight up funded you to put in work on the inside. If Ross was number 2 they would have whacked him as soon as he quit and became a rapper unless the Miami crews are even softer than I originally thought.

Ok what are we talking about here? None of these rappers really lived/live their raps. Maybe a chosen few. They are rapping about the lives of either someone they knew or someone they were related to. The idiot rappers who REALLY try to live what they are rapping end up in prison/jail. (DMX, Tekashi69, Mystikal, C-Murder, Bobby Schmurda) The smart ones just rap about it and collect the checks.

That said, if Rick Ross wants to jump on the bandwagon I am all for it. He has said many times he grew up rooting for UM. And he gave Chad Thomas his first big break. Let the man live.
 
Wait a minute, so a New Yorker who only was down in south fla because of school knows more people down there than actual people from and still in south fla?

If you are trying to say most rappers exaggerate in their music then you are 100% correct, but if you are trying to say most rappers were not really drug dealers or gangster you are 100% wrong. Most rappers (besides these recent sound cloud rappers) were gangsters before rap and the ones that weren't quickly got exposed and faded into irrelevance. Look at Jay Z he founded Rocafella off dope money and one of the founding members is doing a long bid right now because of it.

There is a big difference between using hyperbole and straight up fabricating any entire career.

LMFAO 6ix9ine didn't take over schit and his entire crew that protected him was a black gang. He was taking orders from Shotty and Mel Murda the entire way. He didn't run anything and he still was more relevant than anything to ever come out of Miami. NYC is a gang city. They would crush these small operations they have in Miami.
