Before I get started, understand this. Yes, Coach Richt has done a good job starting to turn program around. (I think with other coaches we could easily be playing for a natty last year and this year) Can Richt and staff get it done ? Yes, I hope so but not the way things are now, not the way the culture is now. Changes must be made.
1. QB - Richt sticking with 12 - Have we've seen any improvement from him this year? NO. That is sad to say. Would we be better off if he were to go with cade or kosi or jarren and let them get the attention to prep as a starter for all year? I think so.
2. Obviously, Deejay is better then Homer. Case closed, homer looked better last year.
3. (Most importantly) - We should be able to hold teams to under 14 points a game at the max. - Linebackers - Shaq is a complete embarrassment? Why do coaches praise him because of his stats or the way he talks to the media? His best year was his freshman year and so far I think he has only gotten worse. Manny diaz is so lost and has no idea what a good LB is. Why would he move Zach to striker when zach is bigger and stronger and faster then shaq and pickney. Zach will be a inside LB in the NFL . Diaz is ******** us. Lying to us. I dont see how any scout would draft shaq unless he were to turn it up a notch asap. Honestly any cane fane ... TELL me what plays Shaq has made that was a statement play in MAJOR game.... Major games - FSU - VT- ND - CLEMSON - WISCONSIN - LSU
DIAZ subs in mike smith .. Jesus what is going on. Why is Dean playing over gurvan hall ?!?! Gurvan hall is probaly the 2nd best db on our team and he doesnt even see the field. Let gurvan hall play cb over dean. Let amari carter be the striker .. It's not hard. Play man and blitz and call out shaq and pickney for not being leaders and for being soft. Its crazy how our leaders let coaches praise players that are not performing. Why is Nesta not getting PT over bethel ? Its crazy and not fair to our fans. We had guidance counselors and coaches. I want a coach that cares about winning and the passion of the football game and the culture ! Our coaches dont want to hurt players feelings and play the older guys... the fans that flew out to dallas deserve better. the fans that show up every weekend deserve better.
