Who are you counting in the 7 -- Shaq, Pinckney, McCloud, Finley, Joyner, Brooks, Huff?

I agree with you on LB depth this year. We had to play 2016 with 3 starting freshman LBs. I think we'll be more than. My concern at LB is 2020. Hopefully Steed makes a full recovery by then.

We had a lull in LB recruiting after that amazing 2016 class (Al Golden deserves some credit there). But Huff and Brooks are the real deal. As I noted in my post above, I just wish there were three more of them heading into 2020.

I was under the impression Jennings could return at some point later this season. Even if he can't, we've got 6 and the strikers. Like I said, I'd like it if we recruit the position a little more effectively, obviously. But, if the goal is getting to the ACC Champ game and taking a swing, barring something odd there's no use discussing, we should have enough.

He has all the tools needed to be great, but if we're lucky we won't need him to be this year. Another bonus of our seniors returning was it giving us more opportunity to build depth behind them.


Hopefully no more than four for him and Brooks but it doesn't seem likely.
