How would this season have gone under Richt?

If Richt would have hired a legit OC, we'd probably not have lost to GT, FIU or Duke. Maybe UNC. But after Manny was hired by Temple he promoted Banda to DC right? So I have a hard time imagining him hiring an OC and giving him full control of the offense, let alone firing his cumstain son.

Repeat of 2016 - either 8-4 or 9-3 regular season with a bowl win over a respectable opponent.

Maybe, but it just seemed too strange. He was tired and didn't want to coach anymore. He knew it. He was too fed up to even consider doing a search. He knew he was done, he just hadn't said so yet.

Yes as much as I think Richt is a superior HC to Diaz, the Richt situation was getting really ugly. It would have been a rough season.

We would have beat FIU....but still would have been a lot of negativity

I know that we beat FIU and GaTech easily under Richt. And Jarren Williams would’ve transferred so we don’t lose to Florida and UNC at the beginning of the season.

Wouldn't have lost to VA Tech at home & wouldn't have lost to FIU or GTech.

Definitely would've lost to UF & probably UNC too.

Jarren would have bolted. Thomas would have stayed gone. I think the OL would have been slightly better tho because I don't see Richt going with a plan of starting two freshman at tackles to start the year. We likely see Scaife at LT which means we probably don't give up 10 sacks and we beat UF.
