How will you spend your Saturdays

Love my Canes & College Football in general too much to not watch.

Even when I'm busy & have something to do, I still always find a way to watch on my phone with the ESPN, Fox Sports Go or CBSSports app.

I suffered through the Coker/Shannon & Folden era (that fckin *******), no amount of Corching ineptitude is gonna break me. If this team went 0-12 I'm still a got **** Cane through & through.

I’ve planned my weekends around this program for 2 decades, every single week, Haven’t missed a game and frankly I’m getting pretty tired of it. This program has brought me great joy some time ago (UCLA, FSU 2000-2004, UF comeback, ND) but over the last 15 years or so, not so much. Wife and kids plan weekend activities to accommodate Miami football for me. I’m no longer going to let that happen. I’m going to spend more time on the water and enjoy my time and family. Maybe I take this program too seriously, it’s only a game after all, and this program has not brought that much joy lately with exception of a handful of games over the last 10 years. I’ll still watch.. Canes football is in my blood, but no more money.. No more season tickets, no more donations and no more weekend plans around this team until I see some real reform. Sad night for sure!

Well, I'm already working 14 hours a day, 7 days a week.

I'll probably spend the next few Saturdays finishing the research to build a custom precision Ruger 10/22 off a stripped reciever.

Think I'm gonna meditate and work on my mental health.

Meditation is **** good medicine. Partly helped me, along with discipline of martial arts, to not be the bad 'terragonsix'

I never seem to get enough time now. Thems the breaks.

I used to do Taekwondo and Muay Thai. Martial arts is a good idea too. Maybe think about getting into that.

You know, upon further reflection, I came into the Miami Hurricane fandom in 1997.

I've always joked about the probation years, and how bad they were. We were resorting to grayshirting guys, putting football players on track scholarships, etc.

Yeah, those teams weren't skilled. Yes, it was a shaky situation at best.

But looking back, I never saw those kids on those probation teams stop having desire or cease to work hard. James Jackson ran as hard for us in the beginning as he did the end.

I cannot say the same for certain teams of the last 15 years. And I think thats very sad.

Brazillian Jujitsu, Taekwondo, Muay Thai Kickboxing, and Filipino Martial Arts here. Also was a varsity wrestler in high school in a galaxy far away.

Used to volunteer for free to help train kids. I miss it a lot. Was great to make a difference, however minute.
