The recruiting services these days are glazing operations for the most part. It wasn't always like this but the money has corrupted things. Kids are often bumped up if they attend certain camps and if they commit to certain schools (especially SEC schools like Alabama and Texas). Harbaugh showed that these recruiting services are political. Some of the kids playing for ND like Leonard Moore was a 3 star who didn't attend the name brand camps. As long as Mario is consistently recruiting in the top 10 we are more than fine. I could care less about being in the top 4-5 every year.

Dia Bell is the quietest 5 star qb ever from south florida.

NO ONE down here cares that he is committed to Texas....majority of the folks think Mali Toney was a better qb and he didnt play qb since he was n 8th grader. But he committed to Texas and is listed a 5 star. Professional athlete dad..TEXAS qb bump.

these rankings alot of times are based on the subscriptions they sell.
