How to start a tradition

I always thought maybe Sebastian could come out with a slip n slide playing air guitar. Then ***** Bells. Then maybe a little deicide, morbid angel, something to really freak out the opposing team and fans. I could see dead skin mask by Slayer being a great intro song.

Every time we get 5 yards on 1st we play Luniz "I got 5 on it" every time the other team gets hurt "another one bites the dust", on a really big hit maybe a soundbite from the Longest yard when big dude thinks he broke his freaking neck. On td scoring plays lil troy "wanna be a balla". When they got the ball maybe some hansen, boy george, that other *** dude from back then, wham or whatever it was, play some jedi mind tricks on em. Or maybe some songs with numbers to ***** up snap counts. No, I'm not serious.

Guess you don't go to many games.
Been awhile since I've been to a home game. I go to the GT games in Atlanta and a few bowl games, and our ACC championship game. I've never witnessed a collaborative fan chant other than Sebastian leading the Canes chant and the Soulja Boy Uuuuu.

I've seen Wisconsin fans jump up and down in unison while screaming their heads off between quarters
I've seen Clemson fans chant Clemson on one side of the field while the other side responds Tigers

When I watch Miami games on tv the crowd doesn't seem to present much advantage other than obvious game changing moments. I'm not digging our fan base. When we get crazy it's the real deal. 3rd downs in clutch situations with our D on the field our fanbase goes nuts. It's awesome! IMO the fire extinguishers in the student section is dope. We should do that around the whole stadium. Thats unique. That's Miami! All I'm trying to say is perhaps we can add something new for the season.

That's bull. At every Canes game at every kickoff the whole crowd shouts "Whoaaaaaaa (before the kick) and oooo (at the kick connection)"

100% (except I always thought it was a "woosh" when the kick connects). Hands in the air, screaming "Whooaaaaaa...." before the kick, pushing hands forward and saying (at least me) "woosh" when the kick connects. It's been a Canes' tradition on kickoffs for decades.

I'm just saying our crowd takes a hiatus during kickoffs. other teams fans have different ways of getting involved during timeouts and tv breaks. this is just an idea. trying to keep up with the new energy Manny has injected into the program.

Yelling U!!!! works too.

Because kickoffs, for the most part, are boring. Think about it. Would rather save my energy for the defense.
