How to Lose a Fanbase 101

Kids don't say "Clapped back".
Yes we do…

It doesn't take much to lose this fanbase. We're already gone after the first drive of the game
It’s honestly insane how quickly this fanbase not only jumps ship, but takes some weird pride in doing it. Two losses and people are basically bragging about not going to games and having 20k in the seats going forward. But at the same time ***** and moan about the team being a bunch of front runners that fold at the first sign of adversity.

Made for each other.

If he believes that, he's lying to himself.

But he doesn't believe that and KNOWS he had a talent advantage over SMU. So in reality, he's not a liar but he's still a loser.

Doesn't care about the "noise" but worries more about Barry Jackson and Willis McGahee than beating SMU...

We all are experts in the steps that ultimately lead to a coaches departure. 5 failed hires in a row and every single one of them followed the same process.

Mario and staff are at step #1 and #2 of th demise end to end process. All signs point to this ending like every other one….. but no one can discount Mario’s power at Miami so part of me says this e2e process we all have watched for 5 new hires that failed goes out the window at miami

Step 1: Have your #1 ability as a HC be talent acquisition
Step 2: Lose a bunch of winnable games because you are horrendous as a game day HC
Step 3: Lose games where you are clearly more talented on paper than the opponent
Step 4: Lie to fanbase and claim the talent gap isn't there rendering your #1 ability as a HC useless
Step 5: By saying there is no talent gap you are making the major differentiator game day coaching which you are horrendous at
Omg the same amount of talent as we do !? What a joke of a coach saying some crazy **** like that

Must be honest as an alum and someone who has been a cane for the last 55 years this season has me totally exhausted and disgusted. I’ve seen this team go from nowhere to elite back to insignificant. There are more exciting and competitive games to watch on Saturday.

Intellectually dishonest post.

Not trying to defend Mario because Nos. 1-3 are all fair criticism, but if we want to make the CFB playoff, it is likely in our best interest to hype up SMU since it is clearly being considered a "bad loss" right now.

They live for coaching searches. That's when traffic is at its peak around here.

NGL when the firings of those other coaches were announced I was triggered and had FOMO real bad. The buzz and excitement of hiring a new coach has gotten to be intoxicating.

Wow, that’s really disappointing right there. That’s just a bold face lie by Cristobal ball right there. I know he’s trying to do the classic coach talk/deflections game but anyone everyone knows we are so much more talented than that team, it’s not even funny. I’ve lost Hope with him.
