That’s gonna be the story in five years.
To be clear, I was a BBB guy three years ago. I hated, HATED the Richt hire.
Diaz has everything Hurricane fans love. Aggressiveness. Passion. Innovation. Swagger. He’s young. He’s hungry AF. He lifeboated off the SS Richtanic to take the Temple HC job.
We all ***** and moan about AD’s hiring retreads just because they have experience. There’s risk to any coaching hire... but Manny is a smart guy who GETS and LOVES the Miami culture that made us all die hard fans.
The Turnover Chain was a sensation because it IS Miami football. Diaz GETS IT.
NOW MAN UP AND STOP BYTCHING ABOUT NOT HIRING A DEFENSELESS PIRATE OR OTHER GOOD COACHES WHO WOULD BE JUST AS UNCERTAIN AS MANNY IN THEIR ABILITY TO REBUILD A CANE DYNASTY.
