Yes, but the loss was to Louisville -- one of the "toughest teams in the country", per Golden. Oh wait, they lost to UVA and were in a dogfight with Wake today...

Nice win tonight, though.. really. Duke might even get to 8 wins this year, to give Goldie his second win against one of those teams. I guess it's a process.
 
I'm not going to take it away from our boys. They got the win, but lets not discount the fact that Duke had 4 high snaps. We didn't cause those. They did.

Yeah it was only Duke. And I was pretty worried until that 4th down and 19 TD. I had to go to my daughter's school sports festival (which started at the same dang time as the Duke game) so I was left to the mercy of Twitter and ESPissaNts gamecast. But we won so on to the next game.
 
Meh. Golden has lowered the bar so much that a win against Dook is a big deal.

But like Chris Rock said about black men boasting about raising their kids, "*****, it's what you're supposed to do! What do you want? A fuc*ing cookie?"

Many of us want to give fat *** and Dino a cookie for beating Dook. GTHO!!!!

so true. the refs removed some points off the board for us and that coley drop would have been a sure td too

I'm happy with the win but find certain things funny about our (and Golden's) reaction with this win and our loss vs Nebraska.

If Nebraska won because our offense **** the bed, then we won because Duke's offense **** the bed. Our defense did not win us this game, same way Nebraska's defense didn't win them the game. Show some consistency.

For the first time since he's been here, he actually used some of the things we've been criticizing him for - for FOUR YEARS!

And it ****es me off that he suggested the kids were finally executing. Really? REALLY? It's amazing what happens when you bring up your corners, put four and sometimes five on the line! Simply amazing!

He's an idiot. And if you guys think this rolling the dice (4th and 17) crap is going to keep working - man - we're all in for more disappointments.

Now if you disagree with me, mark this thread and come back to what I just said after we've played all our games.
