Actually, I agree, and have been saying that ESPN is the prime mover here. But then why wouldn't Miami get in over OU, or a 3 loss Alabama? They are far more exciting, a better storyline, a bigger draw - and a higher rating for the network. So if ESPN is calling the shots, the Canes oughta be in.

Unfortunately, if she does have any influence, V was retired and didn't need a slump buster, so he was not going there...Too bad, if he realized what would transpire, he would have taken one for the team, I'm sure.
