How often do you use the "Feeds" page?

Sorry to sound really dumb but what are the feeds pages. I just click on the forums.

I can't get with the new themes man, I hate them, makes me not want to visit the site.

I see old light is gone now too. Are old light/dark no longer supported or is this just something you're doing to force us to move to the new themes?
