Using the old forum way until it goes away. Eyes don't like change as there's familiarity with what you know.

I think you should just make every clickable object on the site forward to the feeds page.

I hadn't, but tried it based on this thread. I only look at Eye in the Sky and Football Recruiting when on this site. Feeds are a clean way to consolidate both of those forums. It was a little unclear how to Save my Feed settings, but eventually scrolled down and saw the Save button in the filter. A few bits of immediate feedback/questions:
  • When using Feeds does it automatically filter out updates to Sticky threads?

  • The subnav should preserve the filter settings. When I click "Hot" from "Threads" it should preserve my custom filter of Eye in the Sky + Football Recruiting

  • In the Thread view it would be good to have a cleaner aesthetic to distinguish between threads in particular Forums. It currently looks the same as the timestamp

  • I've seen a confusing alert telling me "my filters are filtering out more recent content. click to refresh". When clicking it removes my two forum filter and see stuff from Off-Topic. I don't think that should alert as prominently as I know I'm viewing a filtered view and am ok with ignoring content that doesn't meet my requirements

Rather have a depth chart + eligibility chart…

The feed is just a tab 90% of the people probably aren’t using, which makes it a waste. But I’m sure the people who do use it really prefer it. You could bring the roster info tab back in its place and just put a “my feed” section for the couple people that use it as a forum drop down option. I just think the football team and recruiting discussions should be separated because they focus the responses in a specified direction.

Biggest waste is the trending tab though. Why isn’t that apart of feeds?

Youse mfers are ********.

I think it's a good addition. Allows you to also see those threads that got moved to the off-topic page. We barely use the off-topic page, so the feeds menu helps.

This has unintentionally become one of the funniest threads ever at CIS.

Sorry to sound really dumb but what are the feeds pages. I just click on the forums.

Let me address some matters right now. At no point, at no point have I ever used the feeds, let alone encounter the feeds. Believe me, if I encountered the feeds I would high tail it back to the forums like Carl Lewis

Let me paint you a picture. Imagine that whatever boards you like to read could combine into one board and you could set and save a preference for how you want those threads sorted.

In my case, I had the football and recruiting boards in one and sorted by newest first post. Now I have to go to eye on the sky, then sort manually and look. Then go to the recruiting board, sort manually and look.
