How Much Time For Diaz?

When Manny was hired, Cristobol no longer wanted the job because he worked his way up to a Power 5 position. Years after he wanted to coach for us. This leads us back to my original point. “No one wants to coach here.” If they do, it’s because their resume sucks and want to use us as a stepping stone. My ultimate point is, we need to make this a desirable position again, and we do not do so by calling for coaches heads before year 4.
After Richt retired, Manny was hired in like 12 hours. We dont know who did or didnt want the job because no one else was asked. If we wanna make the position more desirable, start by firing Blake James.

I've supported firing Blake James for a year now. However, calling for Manny's head at this point does not help anything. As for who wants the job, do you recall when it was down to Golden, Edsall and Trestman? We can have a search, yes, but the candidates are not lining up around the block.

The Entire D is comprised of his players...that Flake Faker has promptly regressed in his play calling.

I generally like your posts, but I’m giving a downvote here.

I’m tired of people acting like the Dorito of Bat City wasn’t the real guy who was coordinating the Miami defense early in the season. Baker is just a scapegoat.

Calling defensive plays, eh? Newsflash-at minimum, the Dorito of Bat City probably gives Baker a big scolding during commercial breaks if he doesn’t like his play calls. He probably even overrules some of Baker’s play calls during the game.

Who is the Dorito of Bat City , you might ask. Well, I’ll respond, look up what Bat City is. And then, try to guess.

For starters...EXCELLENT reference...no need for the Empirical One to look it up...tracking with you from the start...very cool when they fly from the bridge en mass btw...seen many times...cave is even better...

Point taken allowing, what 585 yds? to a BYU squad certainly earns Manuela the moniker Dorito (D'No!) of Bat City...

Many of us said before, with Diaz, we have to expect several of those big roller coaster ups and downs....the loss to GT was worse...that wasnt and up or down, but flat out derailment of the carriage and crashing into the ground...much worse than his fail against the Cougars...

Where I disagree is I do believe from the season start, he was hands off with Baker...as he should be...Flaker owns that 4th and 17th, the low point of the season to date...when he "reasserted himself"...and essentially embarrassed/dismissed Baker..was what game this season? UVA I think...

It should have been this year. Apparently, that's an egregious demand. But given how we are closing out the schedule, who we have returning and how to schedule next year, there is no excuse for it not to be next year.

We should know by the end of 2020. Good QB, stacked RB depth, return most of our receiving production, the entire OL, most of the DL and the entire secondary plus our punter. Break in the new linebackers will be a challenge but it should lead us to Charlotte. I'm also very interested to see how February shakes out for NLI Day...
Breaking in new LBs will have challenges but in no way should it affect us dominating the coastal. The opponents have way way bigger issues at more spots than we do. Huff and Brooks are young but our opponents wished they had athletes like them at LB.

The 2017 and 2018 classes are juniors and seniors next year, fvck the Coastal, anything less than a top 10 season and we underachieved, plain and simple. We are loaded with SFLA athletes across the board to the point where the talent is top 10-15 and we are in a weak schedule and division. Dominate and then go out have a respectable showing in Charlotte and then beat a quality opponent in the bowl game. At some point it’s not that our kids were busts, it’s they weren’t developed. Next year’s team will be the most talented across the board we have seen since at least 2010 or maybe even 2005. Coaches need to do their jobs and deliver. Plain and simple.

Coaches failed to deliver this season for sure.

Does it get better? Not convinced...not at all.

For all 93 minutes that you existed on this board?

Because you just joined about two hours ago.

LOL - what did your screen name use to be?

That is, before you got banned.

I’m pessimistic but all we can do is win out and close strong. While I still would not be sold internally, it would be a sign of going in the right direction. Duke and FIU don’t worry me one bit, it’s the bowl game. On the recruiting side of things, Worsham is a solid get and Knighton would be a huge addition.

Plenty of people read CIS, but don’t join.

Sometimes, they join after years of reading.

Jesus.

They sure and **** failed for the first half after the loss to GT many of us were calling for heads to roll. No need to lose to that team. Enos seemed to let Williams stay in the gun more lately, which he should have done the first game. The D coach did a poor job too, but ultimately that falls on the head coach. Still not sold on the D coach. Enos has to use his head from here on out, all of our QB's play better out of the gun and our offensive line is average at best we need to get the ball away quicker.

My other big concern was recruiting, could our staff do a better job, could they recruit with the big boys? In the last week or so it seems like they're doing better which will = more wins. He's not being fired this year so no need to keep beating a dead horse if he keeps winning. Just sad there is only one or two teams on our schedule I could have seen us losing too. Hopefully we have turned a corner we shall see. It's certainly possible. I like Manny I hope he kills it at Miami for a long time. Miami isn't the place where coaches get a long leash from the fans, everything needs to come together now.

There seems to be a fairly equitable split between "Manny needs more time" vs "Fire Manuela today" crowds.

Obviously I'm a "Fire Maneula" guy.

Putting aside those porsters who are always vague, then try and come back with 20/20 hindsight "I was right b!tches"...

How much time do you all feel Diaz needs for consistent ACCCD Titles and ACC Titles?

What does that schedule look like to you?
Did not mean to upvote you. On the contrary. Lately you off the charts with your wacky comments man.
