How much is Manny Buyout?

Just when I want to ignore you, you go ahead and redeem yourself like this. ****** A.

My boss told me he's paying me just enough so I won't quit. I told him in exchange I will work just hard enough not to get fired.

Life is a balancing act. lol

Most head coach contracts have built in about 60-75% of the remaining money. Since it’s year one, I would expect it to be about 7-10 million buyout. We will never really knew since we are a privare school but these are based on what I’ve seen at other schools.

Miami has more money with billionaire boosters than any school in the south. Ban this troll already.
That doesn't mean they want to waste their money hiring and firing coaches like we have for the last 20 years. They are better off ponying up the money for a better support staff and coaches right now right now. That includes this next OC hire and Offensive coaches.

Lololololololololololol. I wouldn't waste one dime supporting this loser head coach.

So you would rather waste money hiring and firing HCs till we find the right one OK that seems to have worked out well for us and most P5 schools. Have at it.

Better than wasting it hiring and firing assistant coaches when it is clear that Manny can't do the job. We are 1.5 million in the hole for Enos next year thanks to this clown. More money wasted based on who he decides to scapegoat next. Fire Manny. #helosttoFIU

Do we even know how much Manny is making per year? I know the school does not have to disclose the contract details since it is a private school, but just wondering? If he has another terrible season and we have to fire him, how much would we owe him for the remaining 3 years on his 5 year contract?

First of all - the guy who's made all these ****poor, extended contracts for loser after loser - should be shot.

First things first.

Maybe get a UF or Ball State law grad to negotiate the contracts - the ones we've gotten the past two decades suck more than a black hole.

I have heard some people say Manny is making 3 million a year and other people have said he is making as much as 4.5 million per year. I sure hope the true amount is closer to 3 million per year in case he has to go after next season.

Again you acting like firing the head coach always works the way you think it works when Miami and many other schools have been doing this for years. Manny has shown potential of correcting mistakes and adapting since he has been here so you are better of working with him and spending the money on top notch assistants. If in 4 to 5 years it doesn't work out then you move on but at least you have invested in the fundamentals and can attract a top notch HC WITH experience then. What you are suggesting is we fire Manny and play the HC crap shoot again for the 6th time in a row and hope it works out better than the last 5 times we did it at tremendous cost.

Four to five years? I see what this is really about now. Judging by your profile pic, you're moreso a Manny fan more than a canes fan. I believe it's impossible to be both a Manny fan and a Canes fan at this point, so I don't know how productive this conversation is when we want different things. I want championships and know that Manny is incapable of getting us there. You want Manny to remain head coach for four to five years regardless of his record. Anybody who truly loves this U, is already trying to get past this era of Manny in charge and hopes that this won't extend past 2020. He isn't new; he isn't innovative; he isn't anything more than a corrupt politician's son. He's a boy trying to do a man's job. I'll just say this, Manny is a symptom of a disease that has plagued this program for 15 years. He will fail, in most aspects, he already has. #helosttoFIU

You want this converaation to be about my profile pic and ignore the points I'm making about the cycle of hiring and firing coaches. You and I both want the same thing but you just want to keep repeating the same things we have been doing for the last 20 years, I don’t.
