He didn't but was required to keep most of Howard's staff. Coaches and players were ****ed the DC didn't get the job. Lot of quiting going on.

Unlike when Shannon and Golden took over, the new coach has a roster pretty much in place of 10+ wins next year.

What are you watching? This is the slowest and worst collection of talent in my lifetime and I am in my 30's

Shannon took over a dumpster, golden took over a Mercedes and turned into a Taurus.... Look at his first year 6 losses by 40 some points after that senior class gone he started to get beat like a bad slab of ham bo

If we make an A hire:

We should be the favorites for the coastal year one. We should only be losing to more talented teams by year two (FSU, maybe Notre Dame) and should expect to be serious conference and big bowl contenders year 3, capable of beating anyone assuming rosier or Jack are players. If we can't follow that arc I am ready to start over again, and for how impatient we will be, failing to land an elite quarterback prospect in the 15 class may be the big issue.
