How many scholarship athletes are there currently?

We used to have Ace's post locked and had them before if I am not mistaken.

Sooooo what you're all saying is that if we have 11 people who are scheduled to graduate and we're at 74 scholarships, then at least 5-6 more of Rok's list still need to find themselves a home. That is if we are still planning on taking 27-28 kids this cycle

There could also be some people who leave early via the draft.
We will have absolutely no problem taking a class of 27.
We don't need, and shouldn't want, any more current players to leave before this season starts. It does not help us in any way. We already have enough spots open (and room on the 2017 initial counters) to backcount some EEs. As long as like 6 more players leave the program after the season but before the summer, we're perfectly fine. Its best to have the players here for depth.

Don't confuse getting to a certain number by the time your full recruiting class enrolls with cutting someone before the season. i didn't see where i said that in my post. They can play the season and then be asked to move on or told their scholarship isn't going to be renewed. Sholly's are not 4 year rides for the most part. They are renewed yearly at the pleasure of the head coach. If i was a player i would move on and not waste the eligibility, but some kids have friends and could graduate early.

I think for some reason I read "5-6 more of Rok's list still need to find themselves a home before the season begins".
Or maybe someone else said it and I responded to the wrong comment. My bad.
But I wouldn't leave if I didn't have to. I would as a grad transfer...which is whats going to happen to those RSJRs who don't contribute.

Your numbers are misleading. For example, you say 5 QB's, but then you only list 4. But you're pretty close on the actual number of kids.

I, too, have 74, not including Willis. I removed him from my scholarship list.

I do not have Diego Marquez or Jack Spicer on scholarship because I have seen no evidence they have received full rides. If someone has a link, or definitive information, let me know so I can add them to my list.

I have 36 on offense, 36 on defense, and 2 specialists (Badgley & Feagles) to make up a total of 74.

Has Jon Ford reported, officially enrolled? All others is dead on.
