How many sacks do we have this year?

Probably, but the DLine has definitely shown improvement as the season has progressed, even with the decimated depth.

Aside from the UVA let down the last couple the games they played very solid IMO vs. UNC, Duke, Gtech.

Did you guys miss the Duke game? That was a passing team and we had ZERO QB hurries. Not sacks, just hurries. (according to the herald)

At half time Dukes QB was 9/10 for like 110 yards

Duke's QB was the king of quick checkdowns. They had a single play of over 20 yards in the game.

Are you pointing to the Duke game to highlight our defensive woes? Really?

You're joking, but I'd give a lot more of that protection credit to Fisch's scheme, playcalls and timing patterns.

We need to bring some heat Saturday and not let emanuel sit back there and pick us apart....If we can pressure him he will make mistakes....

Reach. Currently Average 3 per game tied for 17 in the nation. If we keep that average for the rest of the season including a bowl game based on last year would put us top 15 in the nation.

They got near Armstrong all game despite the holding going on the whole day. Though who knows how average their line is, but the DL looks the best it has under Al, but that's not saying much.

I wonder if those 3 per game are in any way being inflated by the Bethune Cookman game

5 against Bethune, 2 against FAU, 2 against Nebraska when they should've had at least 3 or 4 more if they learned to tackle Armstrong. Still, Nebraska has an average line. Not that Cincinnati has a great line or anything, but we should get a decent picture on whether or not we can expect some sort of pass rush this year for once.
