I'd prefer 10 Wins and an ACC Championship game win than 11 Wins and an ACCCG Loss. Either result I think would very likely to almost certainly get us in the CFP. So I guess my real "MUST" accomplish to continue the positive trend is Making the CFP really. I think no matter what we can't take a step back which would be 9 wins or less. If we "tread water" another 10 win season but actually making the ACC CG and losing and thus missing out on the CFP would be the minimum that is OKAY (not good just Okay). We need to stack 10+ win seasons, period.
So I'd be between 10-11 wins as my prediction for this season. I'm more interested in the goals being Winning the ACC and Making the CFP then caring too much whether we have 10 or 11 regular season wins tbh. I'd bet on us getting 12 wins before I would us only winning 8 this season. I think a lot is working in our favor for our most difficult game of the season - ND. Home week 1 with them starting a Freshman. The 2 ACC Games I'm most interested in is Louisville and SMU. And the Louisville game is coming off a bye and a friday home game. So stuff working in our favor there too. Without question we need to run the table on the rest of the games.
