I definitely get your point. Ive been a fan and season ticket holder for over 30 years. After the last 15 years of repeated bad coaching hires by an administration that has ruined our football dynasty, my anger for the first 12-13 years of losing has turned to defeat for the last 2 years.

I think partly because Coach Richt gave us false hope with the 10 win season, only to fall apart and retire the following season. Now, Manny brings fanfare and expectation (of his own creation) and he has done a worse job than any coach in my lifetime. It is saying a lot when you are worse than Shannon and Golden. I think part of the defeat is having no faith in Blake James possibly making another coaching hire after next season, and an administration that cares so little about football that they might possibly allow Blake James to make another coaching hire, rather than showing him the door along with Manny, if they cannot finally turn it around next season. By turn it around I mean at least 9 wins next season.

Yup. That and I'll add donna shalala to the list. She's done irreparable damage to the UM football program.

It’s not representative of the general Miami fan. The general fan is concerned that manny isn’t right for the job. He isn’t funding billboards and flying banners. He isn’t calling people Penos or slurper or mope. The general fan isn’t posting BOT home addresses nor calling the administration scumbags. I am on campus enough to know that such antics ain’t a U thing. That’s a CIS thing.

Pps: I was at the airport flying home from the VT game. U hat on. A women came up to me and mentioned how disgusting the comments on social media were about manny. She didn’t elaborate on what social media. I just said oh. She is closer to an average fan. There are always lots of Miami fans flying home. There was a nice older couple (Miami grads) and there two grandchildren on one flight. I talked to them. They didn’t whip into Mandy etc mode.

Thats the type of arrogant attitude we've seen from UM management over the past 15+ years. Don't be surprised when they don't come back this time.

I can personally say that I walked away from the Dolphins like 12 years ago and don't miss them a bit. Of course I won't ever have to worry about the dolphins being good again. lol.

The general fan doesn't even know who Manny is. So many of my classmates haven't watched a game since they have been a student and they only went to games because it was the thing to do after a tailgate.

I am a general Miami fan...38 years strong, an alum, and I use and endorse the moniker "PEnos"
 
The whole team **** shut it down. The HardRock is now the swamp. Gators just showed us what hard rock home field advantage looks like and how to real team completes on that field. No one in athletic dept care about football so **** it down and save us the embarrassment.
