How many from 2019 starts on your current roster?

I’m already at 5 with our OL lmao. Well 4 cause Delance is so trash so i would start Austin Barber over him

**** i may say the entire defense tbh. Seriously they all would except the safeties and Marco (I would start Devin Moore over him). They were BUMMMMMS

Always appreciate your participation. I’d be more worried playing the 19 Gators lol. Wishing you zero luck Saturday. 37-20 Canes

Jeff Thomas from the LSU game in 2018 was one of the best WRs I've seen at Miami in long time. Some of the catches he was making in that game were insane. He looked like the best player on the field that included Justin Jefferson, Jamarr Chase, Berrios, Harley, and Ahmmon Richards.

What could have been with him and Ahmmon... not fair at all. Both careers totally lost for 100% different reasons.

If Jeff's head was on straight and Ahmmon never got injured... along with Berrios, Harley, etc.. we'd be talking about that 2018 WR room like people talk about LSU's WR room with Jefferson and Chase.
Yeah two different stories and both very sad. I am still at a loss for when Richards was even hurt. I think the biggest hit he took was when he decleated that Nole on a Rosier run. I remember the old poster Cane Dynasty was ADAMENT that Richards like fought a coach in the locker room at halftime of the LSU game and said without a doubt his absence was not injury related. When it came out his career was over he disappeared from the board.

JT4 just didnt have that work ethic with a clear head. I just checked his twitter and August 17th he tweeted something like cant wait to appear in my first NFL preseason game. Go chase your dream kid but he is one in a long line that always thinks the NFL is going to come calling based off your HS stats and stars. MAYBE if he was around other people that pushed him to work it would have worked out. I think it was brooklyn who said he was a guy content in life with mumbling back to you your order through his headset at Checkers. So much natural talent but perhaps did not love or obsess over the game to be great.

Concerning who starts? I think KJ, Lou, and Shaq. I can see a few "ors" there where they would play a ton but maybe not get the start.

Agreed.

I also think Jeff Thomas was one of the more overrated players here. Nice skillset, but very inconsistent, would disappear, and his speed was overrated. I believe he was a 4.45 guy at 165 lbs. meh.
Huh? He was open at least 80% of the time but the QBs he had during his time here ******* sucked and couldn’t get him the ball. He caught almost everything thrown his way. If you want to know why he disappeared look at the OC’s and Qb’s….

@SWFLHurricane help me out here.

There were some really good players on that roster, but it was a ****** team.

I would like to have:

Deejay
Brevin
KJ
JT4
Shaq
Pinckney
Rousseau
Bandy
Hedley
Bandy wasn’t a good db. Yea he had that pick 6 in 2017. He and Couch very similar dbs. Were constantly picked on.

I remember lsu had him double covered and he ran past both of them dudes but I don’t think rosier got him the ball lol

Ran a 4.45 without being prepared. If he actually put in the work I’m sure he could’ve hit high 4.3 to a low 4.4. Wrs can’t throw themselves the ball. There were a ton of times where he would be running open and rosier or Williams wouldn’t get him the ball

Nothing personal against the young men in that sheet, there’s a few players there. With that being said…

Looking at these in hindsight makes you realize why we average 6-7 wins a season for 20 years

Why wasn’t he prepared? I honestly don’t recall but I do remember not being surprised at his time.

Also, he’s done exactly nothing post-Miami - undrafted, couldn’t make a team, wasn’t stashed on a practice squad, and has done nothing in the USFL or the UFL.

Like I said, he had a nice skillset, but I never saw what many of you saw. I’d take George and X over him all day and I think the data supports that.

Imma do starters and reserves.
QB??? LOL
EDIT: I trust N'Kosi as my QB2 or QB3 more than Emory. Him and Puffentoker would battle for #2.
RB: Honestly, DeeJay and Damien would be a lethal 1-2 punch IMO.
WR: KJ Osborn imo would start with Brown and Restrepo.
SIDE NOTE: Jeff Thomas is intriguing, though, I'd have him in rotation.
TE: Brevin would start, but if Arroyo is healthy... 🤷🏿‍♂️
OL??? LOL OMFG but, honestly, I think Navaughn would be a good OG under Mirabal and Mario.
DL: Greg and Ford would definitely be in rotation. The front 3/4 Guirdy would put together with those two added.... JEEZ
LB: Shaq would start or at least be my 3rd LB.
CB: Bandy would definitely be my nickel.
S: Finley was very good, I agree with @JayCane20 on this take. With our S room, I'd take Gil, too.
ST: LOU!!!!!!!! Jeff would definitely be on KR and PR rotation with Osborn

A bit like Coley, Thomas had a ridiculous High School highlights tape. He also torched everyone at that High School All Star game - he could cut without gearing down.

Could never put it all together at the next level though.
