How many from 2019 starts on your current roster?

If Jeff Thomas had Restrepo’s work ethic I think you have the absolute best version of what a 5’10-5’11 WR could be.
Jeff Thomas from the LSU game in 2018 was one of the best WRs I've seen at Miami in long time. Some of the catches he was making in that game were insane. He looked like the best player on the field that included Justin Jefferson, Jamarr Chase, Berrios, Harley, and Ahmmon Richards.

What could have been with him and Ahmmon... not fair at all. Both careers totally lost for 100% different reasons.

If Jeff's head was on straight and Ahmmon never got injured... along with Berrios, Harley, etc.. we'd be talking about that 2018 WR room like people talk about LSU's WR room with Jefferson and Chase.

Rousseau opposite Bain. I think Kiko starts over Shaq but it's close. KJ in 3 receiver sets but also splitting hairs between him, George and Brown. Brevin over Arroyo but hopefully I'm singing a different tune by November. DJ would be a fantastic #2 back behind Martinez.

Starting.... I think you'd have a hard time convincing me KJ Osborn and Brevin can't start but George or Brown/Arroyo wouldn't be a big drop-off, if at all. KJ just has the elite leadership traits.

Lou Headley starts but Joyce is good in his own right. Lou was just a different level of punter.

Rousseau starts but again... the DE room is loaded so not slighting them.

I'd probably have to find a way to get Shaq and Kiko on the field at the same time but I'm taking Kiko>Shaq. Different positions but Shaq>Wes/Alderman

2019 version of Romeo Finley was very good. Not sure where he plays as it's not apples to apples with the scheme. He was more of a LB/S hybrid and we like to use more of a CB/S hybrid but I'd start Romeo anyway. Then, Bandy is easily the true nickel corner on this team.

Nobody on the OL for sure.
KJ 100% starts. I'm not even sure what the argument is against an NFL receiver with his leadership traits.

I agree. I think George and Brown are both more 'talented' and that would be my argument.

I just don't think either of them have the intangibles that KJ has/had.

I'd have to start KJ.

I might change my mind by Oct/Nov on Brevin over Arroyo. Could easily swing my opinion there.

Brevin, Lou, and GR15. Osborn is probably WR3.

Any other name is a reach.

How many of your guys from 19 would start Saturday? I counted 12…

I’m already at 5 with our OL lmao. Well 4 cause Delance is so trash so i would start Austin Barber over him

**** i may say the entire defense tbh. Seriously they all would except the safeties and Marco (I would start Devin Moore over him). They were BUMMMMMS

I still can't believe Manny rolled out true freshman 250 pound Zion as the LT lol. Insane.
I think he was around 300 at the time but he put on at least 50 lbs between spring ball and the opener I think. ******* Tommy Kennedy was supposed to win that job but he was a dud and a half so they were forced to throw Zion to the wolves.

Thomas v George is a good debate honestly. But can't definitely say one or the other.

Brevin v Arroyo. Brevin starts, but thats not to say Arroyo cant be better. Injuries have been the issue there obviously.

N. Donaldson v McCoy/Samson. Donaldson wasn't really good at all at the end of his career, but the current two are question marks as of now.

Jon Ford v CJ Clark. Ford was always incredibly overated here, but big body. Not sure Clark can't do the same.

Shaq v Francisco. Both great players, but I'm actually sticking to Francisco here.

Bandy v Dyoni. This one can be up for debate.

Lou v current punter. I'm always taking Lou.

For Sure Starters
1. Brevin Jordan - may have been the best player on that '19 team until the emergence of GR15
2. Shaq Quarterman - 2 x first team all ACC. No way that he is not starting
3. Lou Hedley
4. KJ Osborn - not a big drop off with any of our current starting WR's, but he definitely starts.

Possible Starters
1. GR 15
2. Jeff Thomas
3. Jon Ford

The Ford hype was always funny.
