Why would it be weird to represent the school of one most beloved players that helped bring you three chips. It is a stretch for you to assume th most of his fans are on fixed incomes too. But it was just a suggestion we won’t know till kickoff.

Do you have pro teams you follow? The players you like on that pro team, do you rep their college team? Cool if so, but to most that's just weird. Most people only have one team and if they didn't go there, their Alma mater as a second.

Irvin is 59 years old. That puts a good portion of those on fixed income in his fan wheelhouse. That or they're approaching retirement and working towards future security. That doesn't mean their aren't younger fans, but those who were a fan of his, 25 years ago was his last year, they're up there or getting up there. It's no slight, it's the way life works.

Do you know who owns the majority of wealth in this country. The baby boomer generation who is approaching retirement age. The man is legend in Dallas. It would. Not be a stretch to say if Dallas fans were going to the game they would cheer for Miami. But this is a dumb argument that can’t be proven without asking 80000 people just to go to the game. It’s a hypothesis not actual fact. Maybe I should have worded it differently.

Mike Ryan is sitting like 3 rows from me on this flight . I’ve seen several people dressed in Cane gear as well . I have a feeling we’ll have a decent turnout .

I think we’ll surprise people. Somewhere in the 35-40% range will be Canes fans book it. 50% OSU and then the remaining 10-15 will be A&M or neutral fans who didn’t sell tickets.

Last time we played in Dallas was the LSU game in 2018 and same thing, everyone thought it would be a massive LSU crowd but our fans showed up that day (at least a third of the crowd). I remember it surprised all of the media heads since they think Miami fans don’t attend games

A lot less tickets available in the Miami section than Ohio State.

Anyone that was in Dallas with me when we played LSU for the opening game in 2018 will remember we were very well represented in Dallas. Easily 25,000 - Canes fans travel surprisingly well.

That is my guess. We get to Phoenix and I'm playing a round in Scottsdale.

I live in Dallas, I'll be at the game.

But since folks are bringing up the locals, locals don't give a ****, most sports fans are aware that the playoff game is on, but most barely even register that the game is in Dallas. And it's NYE. So take that for what it's worth. There won't be too many casuals at the game from Dallas. People will have it on TV while they're doing their NYE parties.

The city is also used to hosting big sporting events so it's not like it's a novelty here and people show up for that reason. Nope. Jerryworld hosts literally everything. I heard more buzz about the high school state championship games than this game, being real.

That said, if I were to ask around, most people would probably root for Miami over Ohio State. I haven't met many casual fans in Dallas who are Ohio State fans unless that's where they went to school, and I haven't met many of those.

Not many bandwagon college football fans here. Everyone roots for UT, Oklahoma or A&M, and I guess Tech has gotten a little buzz. But nobody is impressed by Ohio State, they're just another team from up north that is having a run at the current moment. Nobody cares.

Im on home time, these games up until the semi finals should be on campuses. Simple ***. Imagine your team plays 4 games, that's alot of money and travel for fanbases. Especially during the holiday season. Cane 16-10

Well, we would be in Columbus. No thanks. It will be comfortable at Jerry World and the following week in Phoenix.

Yeah this season its a plus for us. Next season or future when we are a top 4 seed, not so much.
