We will get an OC. The dumpster fire anti-Manny rhetoric will be repeated a thousand times and used to dismiss whomever it is we do hire that isn’t viewed as the next best thing by fans.

A guy like Yost could see the U as an easy opportunity to reverse the worst offense in P5 this year... and it would help his portfolio.

Agreed. Any halfway decent OC will get Miami’s offense into the Top 30-40 at least. Couple that with a Top 20 defense plus our weak **** schedule, there’s 9-10 wins easily.

Right. He’d get a pay increase, as well. I see your point.

The question is how much freed of action he’ll be given, and will it matter? Diaz is a weak HC who has lost his locker room. Kids won’t go to the mattresses for him.

Does Yost want to step into that environment? My guess is no.

Totally agree as a member of board of trustees said Mullen was too brash which is what we need

IDK what would be his priorities... maybe he'd love South Beach (a la King James) and a bigger paycheck and a blank offensive slate to work with. Also, it all depends how he views his chances of changing the environment and how he can work together with Manny and even crooting chances.
Regardless, it will be interesting who we get.
