How I’d handle things going forward.

The main thing that has me dumbfounded is, if everyone knows he’s a dead man walking including players, staff, parents, etc…. why the fck is he even still here. That sends a terrible message to the players and is a bad look imo. If the players know he’s getting fired why the fck would they even put an effort in on gameday? At least give the place a little boost and make the move already so the cloud isn’t hanging over everyone’s head. Why would the kids listen in team meetings, practice hard, study film, etc..

Just makes no sense whatsoever. It’s the perfect time right now with the bye week. Goes to show how incompetent this administration is, just a complete chitshow…

Because the past 20 years has proven that very few kids are here because of Miami. They're here as a stepping stone to the NFL. All of these kids still have aspirations to play in the league. The only way to do that is to go ball on Saturdays, regardless of who your coach is and who may think he's going to be fired.

100% agree. It should happen now. It might just be an obvious assumption they’re making but if what is getting thrown around by Barry and Feldman that he “needs to be embarrassed” to lose his job in season… if that’s true I can’t believe that’s where we’re at instead of doing it at the obvious time… when we can get acclimated to try to avoid further embarrassment
I think they want to go for humiliation. We are past embarrassment.

Not doing it now is merely holding out hope for the impossible: that this team will somehow turn it around and challenge for the Coastal with Manny at the helm. Waiting until mathematical elimination lets the admin look like they were measured and unemotional, when it is actually a lack of forethought and conviction.

Humiliation is only 12 days away.

Leadership team are not Canes fan. They probably have money on UNC as well. Want to collect to pay for the next coach & love watching this university get embarrassed. Makes them hard; even the women.

Here we’re again, on the verge of another corch getting his public execution. The administration has made this into an every 3-5 year celebration. I figured it would be a good time to post what i‘d do if I were in charge.

If you‘ve followed my posts the last couple weeks I’ve stated it’s a “ when not if” situation. So this is how i‘d do it if I’m the administration ( or anyone with sense).

1. Fire Manny this week, it’s a bye week and theres no better time. The environment is toxic and at this point he’s laying on the ground hemorrhaging In front of everyone. Plus it would give you more time to adjust to the upheaval.

2. Make T Rob the Interim head coach , the players like him and would play hard for him. The season still has something left to play for and we haven’t been eliminated from the coarstal. I think it would give guys a shot of juice. Plus imo there’s a chance he’d return here if the staff wanted him.

3. Simpson to dc , no better time than the present to see what he brings to the table as a dc. Maybe he simplifies things and we can get away from the cute stuff. It seems like the obvious choice.

4. Hand the team over to the kids , from qb on down. It’s time to start preparing for the ‘22 season. We already know what we have with the veterans. Now let’s see what the youngsters have. Imo it would be another shot of energy to a team that needs it. More competition is always a good thing and pt is always the best motivator.

5. Blake has to be fired or reassigned. I know I sound like a broken record with this but if there’s not drastic changes in the athletic department and the attitude of the program we’ll be right back here in a 3-5 years.
It’ll just be more proof the program is living in a state of insanity and will never get out.

The good news is we’ll know pretty fast , it’ll be obvious.

U talking about whether or not they're keeping blake?

If he hasn't been fired by now, he's not going to be fired before the next game is played.
Agree.

He isn't getting fired by Blake (hopefully his *** getting fired too) until we have 3 conference losses and are officially eliminated from the Coastal.

This is going to be a 2-3 more game ***** before everything gets flushed.
