For those who got a chance to see him do more than mop up duty, ala Spring ball, how good is he? He kept racking up sacks, but those aren't live bullets, so I'm just curious what we could see from a healthy Rousseau.

I think everyone is wondering the same thing. We all know that the kid is an insane athlete especially for his size. I think most expect him to be a good to very good player with the opportunity to be elite. We know he singlehandedly destroyed our OL in last year's Spring practice as an EE true freshman.

Personally, I expect GR to be an animal at DE. If we land Trevon Hill then that will give him another year to keep learning and improving before he earns a starting role. Having said that Rousseau will play and play a lot.

everyone said he is Jesus in camps so lets see......he looked like a freak in HS. I didnt like that he added weight so fast when he got here and maybe that put alot of those knees too fast. This kid will be a problem and maybe it was good to sit out a year, everytime I saw his HS film he looked like the Sean Taylor of defensive ends foreal.

Well, paint me excited! I hope half of that is true, because if we do get Trevon, we will see more sacks this year. Conversely, our run D might not be as good (minus the Wisc game).

Whoa! Thats a HUGE statement! Assuming he stays healthy, he's gonna make a huge impact!

I mean all we have to go on is spring ball because he didn't play during the season, but he was one of the most consistent names across the entire team. Not just of the Freshman. It was just like Garvin and JoJack.

Why wasn't he higher ranked than he was? Why wasn't he a 5 star?
Have no idea maybe explosiveness had to be the issue. hopefully hes one of those kids that slipped through the cracks...........that S target next cycle forgot his name hes my guy hes at the top my list as of right now and hes committed

Assuming he's fully recovered from his injury, Rousseau will be special. That kid is a true freak of nature. Could see him having a Garvin-like Sophomore year if healthy.
What exactly do you disagree with from my statement? Seems like we agree.
