Why do our fans always claim to not care about rankings? What are we playing for??? You know we have to finish top 4 to make the CFP right???

You know it makes it infinitely easier for Mario to recruit those kids we want if he’s selling a top 10 program compared to an unranked one, right?

If you think a little number by our name is going to distract the team then that’s weak as ****.

If you think we are sneaking up on ANY team on our schedule you’re deluding yourself. Regardless of ranking, the only two teams we could need to sneak up on are Clemson and FSU. Clemson took an ACC loss already so they will be as focused as can be on us and FSU is literally both of our biggest rivalry games.

Rank my Canes up in the top 18 teams this week and get some **** excitement trending to the program.

EDIT: Just cause I know I’m going to have to spell it out for someone. No I don’t EXPECT us to make the CFP, but ANYTHING can happen. I’d much rather be highly ranked if we take a loss and drop down but still be ranked than be unranked and completely eliminated off 1 loss.
