How epic will the meltdown in here be if it’s less than Fedora?

You're better than this homeboy. He wasn't fired in the same capacity (HC) as what we'd be hiring him for (purely OC). His track record as an OC is good and he has the prerequisite "I don't give a F" attitude we haven't had since JJ.

There's not much not to like about him, let's just pray we actually get him. Big gap between Fedora and Applewhite, who I really don't like very much.
im sure not gonna argue with you about Fedora bro .... and my comment is a good one, hiring just fired coaches is generally
not a good policy. since you are making this about Fedora, he is probably not even close to the best OC that Miami could or should get. his 8 years at UNC were nothing spectacular ... numbers prove that.

if Miami was really being serious about winning championships, the first thing the admin should do is fire Blakey James and get an AD that knows what the **** he is doing and then get serious about finding and hiring the best coaches we can get.
Hiring a HC less than 12 hours after Richt "retired" or whatever he did is the stupidest **** thing most people have ever
seen. No search. no interviews .... nothing.

hiring innovative coaches that are hungry to prove themselves worthy of another shot to lead a program is laughable? guess we should just reach out to failures and nobodies. maybe patrick nix or chud are still hanging around.
you missed the point of what i wrote .

You're entitled to your opinion....but I completely disagree with you. I think you know by now I don't sugar coat and I'm not easy to please....and I can tell you I'm not only fully on board with Fedora, but I think he's easily the best option for us.

He's aggressive as all ****, has head coaching experience that Manny can leverage off of, and as already previously mentioned....he gives zero ***** about humanity. The simple fact he's the Anti-Richt should at least give you a reason to pause and re-assess your stance on the man.

He's the type of OC I've ALWAYS wanted, and after 20 years of the BS we've had....I want him here **** it!

let me spell it out for you ..... if you are a talented and skilled young coach with a high upside and you had a choice of
coaching at Miami with Manny Diaz or Alabama working for Nick Saban , im sure it would not take you longer than 5 minutes
to pack your bags and head to Tuscaloosa.

sure hope you dont disagree with me about Blakey.... LOL .......hope you get your wish and this will not be the last time we disagree about something but i still like and respect you ... thats how life works ... :)

by the way, i hope you are right and I am wrong. Miami has been in a dark hole long enough.

I'd like to see Fedora brought in, but if it doesn't happen there are other options with very strong upside.
Neal Brown could be sick down here with our athletes.
Dude comes from the Leach/Mumme line, his O runs a NASCAR spread offense that capitalizes on sheer speed.
Air Raid O on steroids that runs on a constant no-huddle.

Miami could get a top caliber OC if we had an AD that was worth a ****

This place has already circle jerked its load on him.

THIS JUST IN...

Herd members have just returned to their stalls after attending a seance orchestrated to jinx the potential Larry Fedora hire.

48 hours ago they floated a rumor that Larry Fedora would be hired as the University of Miami's next football offensive coordinator.

Since that time they've taken the rumor they started and are using it to attack new Miami Head Coach Manny Diaz claiming that should Fedora not be hired it proves Diaz is a terrible hire.

Keep in mind that as of this writing Coach Diaz has neither confirmed or denied this rumor. Yet, facts are not important when attacking UM coaches, players or administrators.

Having just completed an inspection of the Herds corral I can report that they were baying at the moon and chanting; "Fire Diaz!"

By the way, cleaning those stalls is no small job when considering all the bullshyt that they are filled with.

*This is a developing story, although a redundant story.

Talent, for the most part will make a coach look good. (This doesn't really apply to us or USC) so I'm ok with a barely above average Applewhite, if we can get Seider and Trooper to get the talent to make him look mildly elite. I just dont want him picking the position coaches!

He stole signals, and had arrogance.......but there was nothing there to back it up......pass.....
