how does this guy not get major carries for us?

You guys are are talking like Parrish is trash.... Parrish is a **** solid option, love the way he runs. He always falls forward for added yards. Kid is a football player.

Chaney looks like a **** Alabama running back and has incredible potential. We know this..... But Parrish starting does not mean RB is a weakness.
The benefit of having multiple backs is that there's a role for someone like Parrish whose size and running style might not be suited for RB1. If Ajay Allen and a healthy Chaney take the field, I'd expect to see Parrish perform better on fewer carries.

I’ll believe it when I see it.

Parrish is & will be RB1 until further notice.

Unless someone makes an unexpected leap (Fletcher and pass-catching?), I don't think our season will be determined by who wins the RB job.

I think this is a "will we open up the formations and push the ball or not" situation.

If the RB is our focal point, with our current roster, I believe we're limited to about 6-7 wins.

If TVD's comfort (meaning emphasizing our attack around his strengths in more than just press conference words) is our focal point, I think we can flip a couple games perhaps we otherwise wouldn't.

Parrish will start the season RB1. But if Chaney is healthy and returns to what he has the potential to be, he'll take over that spot before the season is over. Parrish is a solid, dependable workhorse and a great RB to have on the team.. Chaney at his potential is a gamebreaker.
Chaney took his job in the spring and will not let it go.

If feel like ppl are chalking up Parrish as the starting RB bc he was the starter last year.

But Parrish competition last year was Knighton, Franklin and Lucious Stanley.

If all stay/get healthy, his competition this year is Chaney, Ajay, Fletcher, CJ, and Citizen.

Those two groups are not comparable. He won't have a layup starting position this year. And doesn't have his Ole Miss RB coach as position coach.

I'd be surprised if Parrish is our starting RB and kept that spot all year.

Would love to see a guy like Parrish shine. Appears to be a guy that came over, worked hard on the field during a **** year and could play a nice role…
Reminds me of Travis Homer a little. No one really expected him to be what he became.

And if he does start... it means he earned it.

Something went very wrong if Parrish is the starter at the end of the year with the talent we have in that room.

not sure how the title of the thread changed (added ajaye allen) ... but i haven't seen a clip of ajaye allen against d1 competition outside of a few carries ... chaney was getting busy his frosh year ... speed, yac, balance, burst

I expect Parrish, but I’m pulling for Chaney, but really excited to see Fletcher and Allen. I’m pretty about this RB group.

Nebraska fans were very disappointed to see him leave. They said he has big time potential. Big time.
