How does the bowl selection happen for semifinal games?

#1 seed gets bowl closest to its location. All 7 schools currently in contention are closer to Sugar Bowl, so that’ll get 1 vs 4 matchup.

Is the orange bowl semi-final game? If so, canes should try and make it so they can have home field advantage

No, its just a regular bowl unfortunately. 2021 its the nat’l title site though.

The Orange Bowl is a semi final site next year. Nice spot to start a repeat or is there is rule you can't play in your home stadium?

Doesn't matter if it's an even/odd year. Don't care who's in the white house. None of it matters anymore. We're taking everyone's lunch money and there isn't a **** thing they can do about it!

they do their best to make it so the top 2 teams arent playing in "away game atmospheres"

if bama stays #1 , id imagine they go sugar bowl and we go to rose bowl as #2 vs oklahoma

but just for a hypothetical. if we were #1 and LSU was #4 , we'd probably go rose bowl to avoid giving LSU what would essentially be a home game.

I was thinking the Rose Bowl may take Wisconsin if somehow the Badgers are one. Geographically not a huge difference (distance wise) and the Rose Bowl has had traditional tie-ins with the Big10 forever
