How does a school with Miami’s rep make 5 bad hires in a row?

As much as it pains me to say it, but Miami's rep is probably not as great as you think it is. Fair or not, Miami's rep is not a place with deep resources, but comes with high expectations from an impatient fanbase.

I'm sure I'm in the minority opinion, but Blake played his role well for a while. He was a steadying force when Kirby and Eichorst dumped Miami so quickly after being hired. He saw Miami through the Shapiro scandal pretty successfully. He saw improvements to Greentree, the football facility, and the building of the indoor practice facility. Thank you Blake for your services and accomplishments, but the Canes need to find a strong AD who can be given the keys to the athletic department.

No more hiring of coaches by bringing in a hiring committee of former players (Richt) nor knee jerk hires (Manny). Bring in an AD who has a vision for the program and knows what he's looking for in a head coach to reach that vision.

Rep don’t mean ****. Dwelling on the past makes for nice “memories” and ***** scrapbooks, but we haven’t done **** in years . Playing the schedule we have sure as **** doesn’t help. Who gives a f about most of our games? That’s the real deal.
