Who we get, flip, or lose? I'm

I think we get Marcus Lewis, Antonio Callaway, somehow pull John Houston, and few more rando's

Flip: Carlton Davis and Tevon Coney

Lose: Terrell Chatman, and one of our RB's (going with Scarlett because I have a feeling FSU will offer him and he'll go there)

Scarlett's not going anywhere. Carlton Davis wants nothing to do with us. And John Houston ain't coming here. We'll probably end up with a decent DB haul, maybe one decent LB if we're lucky, and there will be no DT's insight...

Scarlett is an absolute must. He is a freak - a back that has the size, speed, and power that make SEC coaches drool. I also think that Marcus Lewis is a stud - again, prototypical SEC safety. He and Jaquan would be nasty.

Lol it's not like we are getting beat out for good local kids every year at DT everyone in the country besides the national champion has DT problems
 
We have Heurtelou, Jenkins, Wyche all back next yr. Including Moten, Thomas who plays inside some, Kamalu who can play inside etc. Next year we will be fine with DT's. The issue is the depth after next yr that people correctly ***** about. IMO Linebacker is my biggest concern for next yr and beyond. I like Owens potential, Kirby will be solid next yr, Grace has to continue to take that next step. But outside of that we don't have much known commodities. We have Mike Smith coming off injury, Mccray who all considered a JAG when he signed, Juwon Young who has gotten some PT but still unknown, and we have Jackson who has played 1 yr of football still. Trent and Tyriq can get some PT there but there not every down Lb's IMO.

I think its more to do with coaching them than anything else. You rarely find DTs who are ready to play significantly immediately. We need lots of development from Moten, Jenkins and Kamalu etc. At the same time, its concerning that we have one guy committed in Fines who seem like a JAG to me. Thats what concerns me. We need to stack the DL, not just one or two guys all across the line,every cycle. Thats how we get better and not just better..... dominant on D. Thats not overblown. We cant win big games with no DL
 
This year is weak overall when it comes to DTs we will prolly end up going the prep route or juco again
