I knew there would be growing pains with Bell. But yea Miami should have never left him on an island against one of the best DE’s in the country. I’m still ****ed about the terrible call on George’s td.

You can plan for that but in this case, the protection call was correct. There were no free runners.

Not understanding the constant nitpicking on Bell. Some of you guys forgot McKinnie redshirted in 99'. God knows how he would have performed had Butch just thrown him into the fire right out of JUCO. Not saying Bell is anything close to McKinnie but these JUCO kids are playing against "Timmys" in JUCO ranks. It takes a year to adjust. Bell will be just fine next year. We will all be laughing about these "takes" on Bell this time next year when he is dominating.
