I’m drinking my rum out of a 2026 national championship glass right now

It's a long ways away from the playoffs & there's always unforseen variables that can affect the outcome of how things go, but...

In terms of just roster vs roster, there's really only 5, maybe 6 teams I could see winning it.

The next factor is Coaching.

Combine those 2 & I think Miami should be favored to win it all.

Obviously not by Vegas, but taking the betting element out of it, just going off Roster+Coaching, Miami IMO has the best shot to win it all.

Will that happen? Who knows.

But I like our chances a lot more this year than I did last year.
 
For the record in 1987 I had a national championship T-shirt two months before the orange bowl wore it for the big game and of course we come out victorious

I’m with you. We’re better this year, and we have the same coaches. This should be a better football team. Doesn’t mean we get into the natty and nearly win it, but I’m fully convinced on a down-to-down, and game-by-game basis, we’re going to be better.

Pretty **** confident tbh... shoulda had #6 last season as it is but ran into an AI wall. Hopefully learned from that...
