But you want the guy who scores more points. Why would you take Smart (more wins) over Heupel (more points), when you would rather have Lanning (more points) over Cristobal (more wins)?

Both can't be true.

Who were the ppl in charge of making them do "prep work"?.

Naw they outschemed us in that game....especially on offense...they got what they wanted when they wanted. Those long shots wasnt by chance....Even their turnovers caused on defense. Man thats the worst game to bring up because they were 100 percent out coached in that one.

Youre premise is wins matter. He went 5-7 after diaz who is miamis worst coach went 7-5. So by your words and not mine he is worse than diaz.

You are saying mario is better than lanning because of wins so that points to manny being better than mario.

Oh, here we go. Dudes on scholarship aren't expected to do anything. They just show up and the coaches make them care and plan for the opponent.

You have to be playing devil's advocate or just in the mood to argue, because you don't really believe that. Anyone and everyone in sports knows that motivation is internal.

Cool. You better get used to it, because he is our coach. And he is still the guy who turned a below-.500 team into a P5 champion. But even when he turns it around you'll still be parroting the MTSU line.
 
Not a single player form the 2021 offense is playing in the NFL, yet somehow the coaches got 35 points per game out of them. There are dozens of teams out there with zero draftable talent and they still manage to score points and win games.

The idea that you need to have the talent of the 2001 Hurricanes just win games against a garbage schedule is ridiculous. No matter how low on talent Miami might be, the teams they lost to every week has less.
