I watched both NCSt and Syracuse today and those offenses are truly abysmal...FSU gave up 40+ to NCSt and 20 to Syracuse (woat). Are we underestimating how bad they are?

They simply play down to their competition.

Much in the same fashion that the '02 team did.

The 2002 Miami Hurricanes trailed the 2002 Rutgers Scarlet Knights going into the 4th Quarter.

Lol at playing down to competition and comparing them to 2002 miami.

Kill yourself

Brissett looked like a world beater back then. Now he can't get out of his own way against lesser teams. Hopefully Kaaya keeps playing sound ball next weekend.

Kaaya's ability to use his brain and throw to a tight end (unlike Snickers) could be a difference maker in the game. I hope Winston gets his bell rung in this one.

I was at that game. Remembering those delusional fans chanting "overated". It was cold and seemed like Dorsey had trouble gripping the ball.

FSU runs the defensive style that so many on this board have been calling for us to switch to mid season. It's college football. Young players even 5 stars make mental errors in any scheme. It's part of the game, they will be the same group next season dominating again. Like our D will with an experienced 2 deep, when we finally get a full amount of schollys.

They get in trouble when their DC dials up completely obvious blitzes that any capable Offensive mind has exposed all year

They would be better off rushing 4.

Meant to neg, not like

Charles Kelly is an abysmal DC. He was a failure at his last gig. Jimbo swallowed too much bathwater and thought he could plug anyone in there and still field a great D after Stoops and Pruitt.

Their other problems are: a. Complacency from winning too much (see 2002 Canes); b. Massive loss of leadership on D with Joyner and Smith and Jernigan; c. The team has gotten used to Jamitin bailing them out.

We're gonna get them next week.

Hoped no one ever brought that up again.... Dorsey thru a big pick-6 that was over turned in the 4th that game... Think we would of been down 3 scores if it stood too
