-Looks like a fun offense with a bunch of formations and ALOT of tempo. We will run a lot more plays if applewhite is indeed the hire. No more of that slow methodical pace that we ran with richt

-Houston was #7 in the country in 3rd down conversion that year too which is great to see.

Tom Herman is at Texas now right?

In that Peach Bowl clip, I hate to say it but I see the QB doing that whole clapping thing we all hate. ALthough I have to say at the 21 minute mark or so they have FSU laughably off balance. And converting 3rd downs rather easily. I like the tempo. Don't like some of the calls I'm seeing, but to be fair this was a halfway decent FSU defense they were facing.

And.....even though he's not the coach anymore I'm enjoying the look on Jimbo's face as his team is getting its *** kicked.

What is it with you people and the clapping? There's a reason it is done - because it doesn't matter how loud the crowd is, you can hear a clap on the field. Literally every NCAA football team is using the clap cadence now, because it works.

Except for us. Lol. Which is why it's so annoying. 😄

I don't think it is so much the clap specifically, it is the style of clap carried out by what looks to be an emaciated genetically-impoverished de-feathered winged blue-heron trying to take flight in earnest.

If you think Applewhite is a bad hire honestly you should open the hood of your car, insert your head, and let it fall. And then repeat. And again.

This is an offense we’ve been praying for for decades. With a guy that is an experienced playcaller and a good one at that.

anyone who says Applewhite isn't a good to very good OC aren't living in reality. I would prefer Fedora but Applewhite would be a great plan B.
