But the Texas governor claims that they have the virus under control. I’m perplexed at the seeming contradiction.

Yeah, a lot of people claim a lot of things, that doesn't make it true.

For the record, HOUSTON is not having the issue, but three of the four opponents who have cancelled are based in Texas. So it's not even just one campus to blame (yeah, I'm looking at you, Notre Dame). There have been problems at Rice (Houston area), Baylor (Waco area), AND North Texas (Dallas-Fort Worth metro area).

Anyone who thinks that "Texas" has this "under control" is nuts.

You're perplexed cause you're obviously not exactly what anyone would call sharp .

"In the counties where four-year college students make up at least 10% of the population, including Lubbock, Hays and Brazos, cases have grown 34% since Aug. 19, according to a Texas Tribune analysis. That’s compared to 23% in counties with a smaller proportion of students, including larger metropolitan areas like Houston and Dallas that also house universities. The number of new cases each day and other key metrics like COVID-19 hospitalizations have been trending down across the state."

I've already said it & I'm gonna keep saying it every time they cancel a game...

Marquez Stevenson should've came over with King & Jarrid.
They told him the same thing. Speedy woulda been a locker room problem possibly for us tho. He’s not a big leader.. maybe D’eriq coulda kept him under wraps but that’s my dawg and nah lol he too wild.

First thing I thought too. While Mandy has some stuff he is working through, he has definitely kept the virus in check so far (Knock on serious wood)
Tell me more about this Mandy.
