Looking for some advice on where to stay near the stadium. My daughter and I are flying down from Wisconsin Saturday morning for the game and flying back Sunday evening. Looking for some advice on where to stay that is a good location near both the airport and the stadium. We'd likely be renting a car to get where we need to go. Not sure if staying right in Miami is a better option or something closer to the stadium. Any advice would be appreciated.

*EDIT: We will be flying into Miami Intl.

I got a hair up my *** on Sunday and booked a flight for this weekend. Will be coming this weekend and next for ND from Texas. I am staying up in Ft. Lauderdale at the Hampton Inn and then for ND at the Homewood Suites. Both by the airport. I like that area a little better too than down by MIA. Also, closer to one of my favorite breweries, Funky Buddha, staying up in Ft. Lauderdale. Last I checked hotels were over $300 a night though in most places.

Also, Mom's side of the family are from Germantown and Menominee Falls. Small world, nothing better than cheese curds.

Hard Rock Hotel/Casino & the Renaissance (Marriott) are the closest to the stadium.

HurricaneMike where in Wisconsin are you from? I am from Wisconsin too. My wife and I were thinking about going down to the game but we can't make it. Maybe next week.

We are up in Kimberly, near Appleton. I grew up in the Slinger area which is about half hour north of Milwaukee.

If you want to be close to MIA airport but not TOO far from the stadium, Doral might be a decent option. Lots of affordable hotels with restaurants and the like nearby. MIA brewery in Doral is also a great place to hang for beers.

If I were you, I'd stay at the Vagabond. The neighborhood is a little bit iffy, but it's been renovated recently and has a cool vibe to it. Straight shot to the airport off of 112, and close to 95 to get up to the stadium. As far as extra cirriculars go, Wynwood/Brickell/Beach aren't too far. I'd say you can uber/lyft to most places with less stress than driving and parking. Parking for the game this weekend is pretty expensive already.

My sister in law lives in the Kimberly area. Been up there many times. We are in Waterford and I grew up in Racine. Have fun at the game!
