Good article, would be great to land another JUCO big man. JUCO C Stephen Hurt, he could replace D. Kirk instantly next year. We need more big men.

2014-15 Roster (not including Griffin or Elder)

PG: Angel / Lecomte and Newton
SG: Burnett / McClellan and Palmer (maybe SG/SF)
SF: Reed
PF: Kelly
C: Jekiri

So of the 4 spots remaining in 2014 we need at least 3 big men.

Seton Hall hired one player's mentor (assistant on his national team) and seems to have promised a position to the other player's high school/AAU coach.

i think people on this board have the wrong assumption that either: 1) burnett is better than mcclellan or 2) mcclellan isnt very good.

McClellan will start next year on this team. If Newton is as good as advertised, expect the canes to play a lot of 3 guard sets (Newton, Rodriguez, McClellan) with Jekiri and whoever wins the 4 spot

Finding some quality big men reminds me of the Canes football team searching for interior defensive linemen the last couple of recruiting cycles. Seems strange there isn't more interest given the obvious need.
