This is not sour grapes. I hated the defensive tape of this kid. Defense is a mindset and attitude. He would NOT fit in with our dawgs here. Soft, and I stand by that.

He's put himself in a position since last season where he can't afford a bad season with them so invested. He was on the hot seat last season and had trustees putting out feelers already. Zero room for error with him. Curious how Patterson will do. I personally think he'll be a good hire. But if they struggle at all that's both they asses.

I am not a fan of Lincoln at all. I wasn't a fan of USC's run under Carroll becoming the program that Miami should have been in the early 2000's. That is the only time period I have really disliked them, indifferent mostly. When I was really young, I liked the Charles White's and Marcus Allen's at USC. Anyway, I think USC is about to step up this season. They have some ballers. I have IU stepping back and USC, Oregon stepping up with a eye on UM. I also have OSU slightly falling back like Bama, UGA have. Since I don't like Lincoln, if they win, my dislike from the Carroll years might come back.
USC got some DB's last class and adding Johnson, Lang this class.

Depends, if they put it together and make the playoff he'll be fine. If they pull a 9-3 or worse its prob over.

I'm honestly surprised at how his USC tenure has gone so far, the realignment certainly hasn't helped but they've been huge spenders and can't seem to put it together

IU will be at worse a 3 loss team. The coaching (and possibly the cheating too) is too good. I think Ohio State has better coaching than Bama and UGA so I don't think they fall back too much. I think Michigan steps up. I don't think USC takes a major leap simply b/c I think they will depend TOO HEAVILY on freshman.
