Five-star Honor Fa’alave-Johnson announced his top 10 on Tuesday and while all of the programs have a shot at the two-way standout, USC is still believed to be the clear frontrunner in his recruitment.
A lot of factors are playing into that thinking.
The San Diego (Calif.) Cathedral Catholic star running back and safety loves the idea of putting on for his city much like Reggie Bush did. His family is in the area and would only be a couple hours from seeing him play.
USC could be tough to beat but the biggest competition is coming from Alabama, Texas and now Miami is a serious contender as well.
At one time, Oregon looked like the frontrunner but the Ducks have not been mentioned as much by sources as of late. Penn State, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and Ohio State round out the list of favorites.
