2027 Honor Fa’alave Johnson from San Diego

UV: March 5-7

Fa’alave-Johnson will start at Miami from March 5-7 and the Hurricanes are making this one more interesting especially as they’re coming off a run at the national championship.

With the possibility of playing both running back and defensive back in college and his relationship with the Miami coaches getting stronger, another good visit to South Florida could boost the Hurricanes even more.

When was the first visit?

Bama and OSU got chopped as he went from 8 to 6. Previously added LSU and cut A&M, Penn State, and Oklahoma going from 10 to 8.

If he is a man of honor, it will be Miami.

There a scheme I know I can fit in, and have the same playing style as a lot of their DBs. Their coaching staff is great and Coach Cristobal is definitely a top-notch coach.

“The production on the field, being in the National Championship, any player’s dream is to play on the national stage,” his agent from Fortune Sports Group Josh Stupin said. “Honor and the phenomenal talent that he is, that’s what he’s looking for in a school. That along with the exciting things they’ve added makes for an intriguing spot for Honor and something he’s taking a very close look at.”

“They’re super-intentional with Honor,” Stupin said. “They prioritize him as good as any school has. Knowing they got an even later start due to them playing so long, they haven’t skipped a beat in recruiting. I know Honor is very excited to get out there on March 5 and hang out with the staff and build a relationship and see if it’s a spot where he ultimately can land.”

This point shouldn't be minimized. We missed our normal Junior day and the Battle Miami weekend this cycle. I wasn't sure how many of the recruits noticed but Mario will figure out a way to leverage this in recruiting.

Although much of the conversation about CB Honor Fa'alave-Johnson (San Diego, CA) centers on safety and running back, some at Miami feel the 6'1, 190-pound athlete with 10.4 speed could fit in the cornerback room. He is a priority.
