Colombia?!

Runnnn!

Be very cautious. She may just want to become a US citizen. Wait at least another year and you can visit her in Columbia. Even in the best of circumstances, marriage is a crapshoot in lasting. Many, many factors involved. My late husband & I were married 42 years when he passed away. We actually never discussed divorce, but murder was on the table a couple of times. Sometimes there is a fine line between love and hate.

Fantastic post

Used to spear fish around the mangrove islands in the Keys. Got lots of mangoes and yellows about the size of these.
I've fished all my life but haven't done much spearing though. In the 70's and 80's I had a 17' openfish and I would load up on grey snappers around some small islands in the keys. The water creates like trenches around the islands and the mangroves hang out by their namesake. 16 inchers were very common.

Exactly about the trenches. Especially if the water is shallow around them. The schools would be dense and it was fairly easy to get 2 with one shot. Nice boat BTW.

I understand if there's stuff that HAS to be done, but my ex-wife used to make up stuff to do. If you have to buy groceries, and you know that it's gonna be nuts on the weekend, then hit Publix after work during the week days when it's slower! Do your best to keep the house clean during the weekdays so that you don't have to spend a whole Saturday cleaning up. My wife used to make a mess in the house, and then when the weekend would come, she'd be like "this place is a wreck we need to clean up!"
*****, WE?!

Tell me about it. Working 12 hr days and the last 5 weeks, 6 days/week. Then the "house needs cleaned/etc. I'm like...I've been home to eat dinner and sleep. Tell your (hers when they make a mess/mis-behave/etc) daughters to pick up and do their own chores.

My MO is to try and anticipate as many honey-dos as possible and get them done ASAP. Building good will works wonders for free time. The sympathy card comes in to play as well. "Honey, I'm exhausted from all the chores I've done today."
Of course, there's the honey-dos that are difficult to anticipate like "I think I'd like to change the color of the kitchen" or "I got these new curtains on sale today." Banking good will and playing the sympathy card are excellent tactics to insure "happy wife = happy life."

Yep, base boards , painting and new LED fixtures all included.

Daylight savings does NOT help at all in all this, especially driving around and she says there’s LOWES pull over.

Just figured we’re all in this together, makes cheering at Canes game more intense.

GOCANES

Been all over Lowe's, but not the wife's fault. Upgrading my rental property.

I've been bitten by vipers -twice. Brown Recluse - once. My job took me into lots of wild country - as primitive as it gets. I've had a King Cobra rise up just ten feet in front of me - and he was as tall as I was. Of course I altered my path - seemed the prudent thing to do.

Physicians learn their trade by rote. They "practice" medicine. This has nothing to do with "medicine." It's simple biophysics, even practiced by physicians in other parts of the world - as it works.

You're inexperienced. You're unaware. And thus - uninformed. Your problem - not mine.

While you probably have an engine somewhere nearby - you may not have a physician for many miles - and all that time getting there - you're losing tissue and the venom is spreading.

I'm perfectly fine with you doing things your way. Try laughing as your physician is cutting off the dead tissue because you were so smart.

Meanwhile - I'll do what works.
I’ve been bit by a brown recluse as well. It’s pretty nasty what those things can do.

I always found that I never got credit for what I did, I just had **** to pay for what I didn’t do. Seems like you made a good choice there.
