Homer has looked average since the fast start last year

Normally I would agree with you, but this is not a case of calling for a random backup to replace an entrenched starter. These two have been getting evenly split carries for 5 or 6 games now, and one is clearly out performing the other.

DJ has 86 yards rushing.

Guys just wanna criticize good players for no reason. They expect Homer to be breaking 30 long runs every game.

Homer carried this team at times last season. Give him the rock.

No it's not. The OL was crap. That announcer whose a former FSU OL, was on them all game.

Football is a team game. Homer isn't Barry Sanders and can make 11 guys miss to get a 10 yard run.

Everyone on this site says he’s explosive with good top end speed. People rightfully question his vision , patience and wiggle in the open field.

If there is a hole, Homer might be the best we have, but when it’s not there he gets nothing.

It ain’t about ripping a 30 yarder. Give me the guy who can constantly get 3 or 4 instead of nothing.

You do realize the backup with less reps, usually has a higher YPC right?

Secondly, the amount of reps to make this sort of judgement is hilarious. Both players have a combined 33 reps. That's nothing to go on.

Stop bashing on of our best players and the kid that carried the team for good portions of the year in 2017.

I am patiently waiting for Homer to hit his stride. A good performing Homer actually makes for a better Deejay Dallas.

I’m not bashing anyone or calling for anyone to be benched. I’m simply making factual statements based off of the performance of both players.
 
Calling Dallas a backup is disingenuous. They’ve been splitting reps pretty evenly for quite a while now. There’s plenty of film on both to make in informed judgment on what both do well and not so well.

Then maybe just maybe instead of calling one of our better players 'average', you should use your words with more thoughtfulness.

Something like.......Homer is a good player, but I prefer a bigger RB that can grind out tough yards a bit better. Deejay seems to be better at this part of the game....

Yeah, I was here for that, and if you’d read through the comments in that thread you’d know I’ve been heaping high praise for Homer since before Walton even went down last season. So you can cut the white knight BS like people are trashing Homer and you are his lone defender.

Homer tends to run head down into the first defender he sees: True or False

That’s literally the only thing you can knock him on, and pointing out what is obvious is not trashing a player.

Homer tries to run people over like he’s 235 and Dallas runs around people like he’s 195.

How about instead of arguing against something I never said, argue the legitimate points I’ve brought up on very specific plays.

I never called Homer average.
 
Lo just looks like he's athletically superior just another level
its clear why he is a 5 star

his last run was something i haven't seen here in a while
