Mostly fair analysis.

Main complaint.. They beat our schedule to death, alluding to it as to why ND will be more tested. ND's is worse! And VT's is even more laughable. All 3 are bad. Man the ACC is trash.

Also they said we might need more ACC officiating help like we did with VT/Cal. Is that really a narritive that the ACC is pro-Miami? Tell that to the one holding call Bain drew..

Nitpicking but two terrible takes. Lol

This was one of the best objective observer/outsider breakdowns I’ve seen someone do on us this year. Very good detail and they clearly do their research unlike some of the sloppy takes I hear at times.

I do take major issue with the last 15 -20 minutes or so where they say this years team is less talented than last years and where they alluded to the *possibility* of a 2025 Penn State -type of collapse. Neither expects us to win a playoff game this year either even though they have us making the playoffs.

That part of the analysis is dated and backwards looking. Miami is still on the “ascension” portion of its current run, where roster depth/overall talent is actually increasing regardless of NFL draft picks and departures. It’s like where Clemson was around 2016 coming off the loss to Bama.

If guys are looking for objective outsider previews, this was best one I have seen, maybe has a couple mistakes which is expected but very minor and he goes into coaching schemes and such, probably better than any you will find overall..

Franklin actually brought back last year's head coach as the DC this year which is what made their RE-EST shirts even funnier

Yea, I don't think anyone is running on us.

I think this is a much more complete defense than last year. For instance, the Louisville offensive game plan from last year probably doesn't work this year.

The media didn't give Louisville's offensive game plan enough credit last year, IMO. Brohm did well in that regard. All the talk was how we **** the bed, but no one talked about how Louisville did a good job. I didn't think that was fair at all. If we weren't in the ACC, they would have propelled them into the Top 10 after that game.

Honestly UL’s defense did an amazing job as well. We ran for 63 ******* yards at home…

But yeah letting Isaac brown run for 7 a clip with the longest run being 28 is downright a bad showing for how good our run defense was last year.

yes they did a good job, though overall. It's very easy to criticize when you know everything about your team look at the amount of people on this website who come here and don't know **** about it despite being on here every day. When you start having to cover other teams in depth or nationally it's a lot ******* harder than people think.

Don’t mind me throwing shade. That’s all that was. It’s one of the greatest out there. Just being a home or like them guys. Feelings over facts.
 
VT is one of those programs that is really hoping this Protect College Sports Act bill goes through because they would really benefit from a NIL cap and limited transfer portal. Franklin could build it back alot faster without feeling like once he develops a kid..he will lose them to another school that can pay them alot more.. He couldnt possibly do it the way things are now. So will be interesting to see how he is able to rebuild VT depending on what happens with the bill.
