By now all these kids should know the business. Grow up, committ to a school and go from there.
Hey don’t commit in Dec and wait till Feb.

I'm always conflicted on this topic.

I get the reason for trying to get out of the LOI. But, I still believe one of the fundamental issues is that "kids" choose coaches over schools. Which is fine, but they are also making adult decisions with a binding document.

I always tell players. Imagine if the coach isn't there. Do you still like the school? Imagine if God forbid you can never play football again. Do you still like the school?
Some listen. Some don't.

Don’t care one bit about the recruits in these situations. It may be cliche but it’s nothing but the pure truth that one should commit to the school not the coach. You’re not a Clemson Swinney nor Dabo tiger you’re a Clemson tiger, same for any school. If the kids are paying attention how terrible or great a season is going with that team then they should expect some changes to be made in terms of a termination or promotion so if they only wanted to play for that coach and not the school then don’t sign in December. I like that Payton kept it real, he wanted to attend Miami either way.

How about if you entoll and the coach gets fired mid season? Can you jump ship too? If it comes out thT the coach knew he was leaving and misled you then I can see it.

Pretty much guarantee Miami will release anyone asking out of their loi

Seems more people left cause Diaz did, vs sign for richt

Good points. These kids are social media savvy. They should know if a coach might leave.
