It may not hurt but he has too many things going against him he’s not Russell Wilson.

Nothing wrong with being a good college QB and not NFL material.

Of course there's not. People forget that a very small percentage actually make it to the NFL. My point is that if that is his goal, the best chance he's got is to come back. His odds can only get better by returning.

King will easily make practice squad money or more on his likeness in the Miami market while perfecting his craft. Manny is selling kids on this.

Can’t disagree with that.

If I’m him why not stay in S. Florida for another year for free and prolong reality. it’s pretty much a no brainer.

Not sure if you seen the qbs stealing money in the nfl? With another year I fully believe he could hang around the league. If Jeff driskell can king can. Height is the only thing that’s a big negative and in today’s nfl that’s nowhere as important. Murray is 5’9 and change lol. I’m not saying he’s Murray but backup or practice squad is definitely possible.

BTW Murray is 5’10 1/8”. And a **** of a lot faster.

Also I did say play not sit the pine. Look I like King but have to be realistic 95% he never makes a roster.

This is what I've been hoping for to keep the majority of kids who blow through 3 years here to jump into a day 3 pick or worse.

he's got to put more accurate throws down the field on tape to even get drafted at this point. you can't be missing guys by 15 yards on 30 yard go routes down the sideline and get drafted.
