The No. 7 Miami Hurricanes took down the No. 10 Missouri Tigers 80-66 in the first round of the 2026 NCAA Tournament on Friday night. It was Miami’s first win in the tournament since 2023.

We killed Mizzou on the boards, 46-30. Especially on the offensive glass, 16-7. Very nice effort against a taller front line.

Our FT shooting (17-29) at 59% was again unacceptable for any team wanting to advance from here on out. We only had a 3 point lead with 2 minutes and change left in the game. Shouldn't have ever been that close.
